This Swing is made from Green Oak and is left blank for your own message to be added. This is a very special and beautiful gift that will last a lifetime.
As a guide to choosing words we suggest allowing 30 characters for the two long sides when thinking of words. Popular choices are children's names, nursery rhymes, wedding dates, christening dates & even house names.

Seat size is Approx. 75cm long by 25cm wide and it can hang from a tree branch or a frame (frame not supplied). The swing comes with a 5M drop of British crafted rope (which totals 22M of rope used for the 5M drop). Whittled and spliced the rope has been chosen because it is British, a first rate product from a naval dock and will provide you with many years of use. Its softness to touch will increase with use without undermining its strength. The rope should be reviewed after approx 7 years but all this depends on weather conditions.

Made from unseasoned English green oak. The natural finish with soap will look better as it ages showing off the beauty of the wood. Green Oak is timber that has not been seasoned – it still has a high water content from being the trees’ life blood. This timber is chosen because in the course of steadily drying out in the atmosphere the swings will warp, contort, twist, perhaps split, giving each piece a wonderful individual character.
