I knew I wanted to start a business, (either that or buy a horse & learn to play Polo - the business won!) but it needed to be something I loved if it was going to take up all of my spare time.

After lots (& lots!) of discussions with friends and family, many lists, lots of planning and organising and yet more list writing Swings and Pretty Things was born
